Trust is a factor in Google ranking algorithm. Websites that can be trusted rank better than websites of dubious origin. Google does not want to show low-quality websites in search results.
For that reason, it is important that you convince Google that your business is real and that your website can be trusted.
1. You need a trusted domain name
The old domains with a history spam free usually have a better positioning brand than the new domains. If you can purchase a domain name with seniority, your business can benefit from this if the domain has been used for similar businesses before.
- Don't use exotic top-level domains. If you are in the US, use .com, .net or .org. If you're in another country, use your country's official top-level domain.
- Ordering your domain with a renewal period of 2 or more years shows search engines that the domain is not a waste of investment.
- Don't use more than one script in your domain (it's best to avoid all of them). Hyphenated domains often search for spam, especially if they contain a lot of keywords.
Of course, it is possible to get a high ranking with a new exotic domain, but it is more difficult.
2. You need a trustworthy website
A trusted website has easy to find contact information. Suspicious websites do not have any contact information at all, or they hide it. Make your contact information easy to find. Include your full address on your website.
The more information about your company can be found on your website, the more likely it is that it will be considered a real business.
Your website should have a privacy policy and terms and conditions (if applicable). Both should be easy to find.
3. You need trusted links
Even if you have a new domain, Google will trust your website if it has many links from other trusted websites.
Low quality links can hurt your ranking, links from high quality sites will have a positive influence on your site's Google results.
